Our tag sale today was a complete success. We sold a LOT of stuff and made a good chunk of change! Below is an excerpt from an achewood comic about garage sales that James was telling me about while we were sitting under a tree, during a lull in the sale. We were talking about the nature of garage sales and how people will buy complete rubbish just because it is under a dollar…But like they say, “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure”.  We had some interesting conversations with strangers. One being an older fellow who told us about how much whiskey he drank last night that he could hardly walk. He marveled at the records James was selling and couldn’t fathom how James would know about these artists “at such a young age”. All in all it was a lovely time. What didn’t get sold out of the lot was promptly donated to Goodwill.
